Checked Today Privacy Policy

Checked Today is a local-first reminder and memory checklist app. It stores reminder names, schedules, progress, and completion logs on your device so the app can show your current reminder state, widgets, and notifications.

Data Checked Today stores on your device

Checked Today may store the following app data locally:

Data collection and sharing

Checked Today does not require an account. Checked Today does not collect analytics, crash reports, advertising identifiers, contacts, location, health records from platform health APIs, or reminder content on a developer-operated server.

Checked Today does not sell personal data. Checked Today does not share your reminder content with the developer or third parties.

Notifications and widgets

Checked Today uses Android notification and widget features to show reminders you create. These features run from data stored locally on your device.

App updates

Checked Today can ask Google Play whether a newer app version is available. Google Play may process device metadata, the installed app version, and installed app modules to answer that request under Google's terms. Reminder names, schedules, progress, and completion logs are not included in update checks.

Purchases

Checked Today is free-only for this release and does not offer in-app purchases.

Backup, retention, and deletion

Checked Today disables Android app-data backup and device-transfer extraction for local reminder data. Deleting the app removes local reminder data from the device.
